METHA8™ is an innovative clean energy technology venture focused on the development and commercialization of Aqueous Alkaline Reforming of Methanol (AARM) technology.

MECIP has acquired a substantial interest in METHA8 through a Convertible Agreement Regarding Equity (CARE), reflecting its commitment to supporting the advancement of next-generation clean energy technologies and sustainable power solutions.

The AARM process converts methanol and water into hydrogen-rich gas through a catalytic reforming process. The generated hydrogen is then utilized by a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) system to produce clean electricity with high efficiency, reduced emissions, and enhanced energy utilization.
