MECIP Group held its board meeting on 19 February 2025 at the Zenith Hotel in Kuantan, gathering all five directors, company secretaries Mohd Nor Mohamad and Roslina, along with senior executives. Key attendees included Zulkifli Mohamad (Financial Auditor), the Chief Finance Officer, General Manager, and Finance Officer.

The meeting was chaired by Ir. Ahmad Nazari Ashari for MECIP Global Engineers Sdn. Bhd. and Ir. Mohd Nor Basar for MECIP (M) Sdn. Bhd., highlighting MECIP’s commitment to strong leadership and robust corporate governance.

1. Succession Planning for Key Positions

The board appointed Director Ir. Zaizul Imran Zainal to lead the identification of candidates for crucial roles, including General Manager, Senior Managers, and Lead Engineers. The initiative also focuses on identifying internal candidates to qualify as Professional Engineers with Practicing Certificates (PEPC) for potential appointment as board members of MECIP (M) Sdn. Bhd.

2. Upgrading & Improvement of the Group’s Email System

To enhance operational efficiency and streamline communication, the board discussed plans to upgrade the group’s email system.
