MECIP Strengthens Strategic Engagement with Malaysia’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan

On 22 June 2026, MECIP was honoured to receive a courtesy meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan, H.E. Tuan Mohd Suhaimi bin Ahmad Tajuddin, and MECIP’s Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Haji Mahmood Azmy bin Muhammad Shukri.
The discussion focused on the current landscape of Turkmenistan’s engineering and industrial sectors, as well as emerging opportunities for Malaysian expertise, technologies, and services to contribute to the country’s ongoing development initiatives. Both parties exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation and enhancing business engagement between Malaysia and Turkmenistan across sectors of mutual interest.
Particular emphasis was placed on the role of the Malaysian Consortium of Mid-Tier Companies (MCMTC) as a platform for fostering collaboration, facilitating market access, and promoting strategic partnerships between Malaysian and Turkmen stakeholders. The meeting also explored opportunities for joint initiatives, knowledge sharing, and participation in regional and international platforms to support long-term economic and industrial cooperation.
MECIP remains committed to expanding its international presence and contributing Malaysian engineering excellence to global markets. The meeting reflects a shared aspiration to strengthen economic, commercial, and technical collaboration between Malaysia and Turkmenistan while exploring new avenues for sustainable business growth and partnership development.
MECIP extends its appreciation to H.E. Tuan Mohd Suhaimi bin Ahmad Tajuddin for the valuable engagement and looks forward to supporting future initiatives that strengthen bilateral relations and create opportunities for both nations.
