Cadangan Pembangunan Pusat Terminal Pengangkutan Bersepadu Sektor Timur di Terminal Putra Melati, Gombak, Selangor

MECIP provided Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering Consultancy services for the proposed development of the Pusat Terminal Pengangkutan Bersepadu Sektor Timur, located on Government Land Plot A and Plot B at Terminal Putra Melati, Lebuhraya Lingkaran Tengah 2 (MRR2), Mukim Setapak, District of Gombak, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

With an estimated project value of RM300 million, the development represents a significant integrated transportation infrastructure project intended to provide a modern and efficient terminal facility serving the eastern sector of the Klang Valley.

As the M&E Engineering Consultant, MECIP was responsible for the planning, design, technical coordination and engineering consultancy of the mechanical and electrical building services for the development. The M&E systems were designed and coordinated to support the operational, passenger, commercial and building management requirements of an integrated transportation terminal.

MECIP worked closely with the client, architectural and engineering consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders to ensure effective integration of the M&E systems with the overall architectural, structural and operational requirements of the terminal.

The project presented MECIP with the opportunity to apply its multidisciplinary M&E engineering expertise to a large-scale public transportation facility, involving complex building services and operational requirements. The successful completion of the development in 2024 demonstrates MECIP’s capability in delivering technically coordinated M&E consultancy services for major transportation and public infrastructure projects.
